I have only recently realized just how big of a deal me moving to Taiwan real is! I mean im moving away from everyone and everything I know. Don't get me wrong I am as excited as hell, but in less than 3 wks, I won't see so many people that I love for a yr! And on the other hand I wont see people I love for a yr. Confusing? Allow me to explain. This move allows me to start fresh, become a better me. I will always stay myself, but there are definitely some things I would like to change. My mission for my year to come... become a healthier me! I have had some trouble in my past becoming a healthier me. But there is something uplifting and encouraging about starting fresh. I am already going to have to adapt to a new lifestyle, why not completely change it. I am going to eat healthier, go to the gym 3 times a week do yoga once a week, walk where ever possible, and something new, fun and exciting every chance I get. I am considering getting a dog, depending on my living situation, and I know to most people it sounds like a stupid idea. I know my mom is not thrilled with that idea, she probably thinks it will hold me back from traveling and exploring, and she may have a point. But there is nothing in the world like the companionship of a dog. There are plenty of things I can still do with a dog in my life, like hiking and walking around the city and going on a weekend camping trip by the beach. But going to temples or flying to Bali for the weekend wont include a dog, and maybe that would be selfish of me to leave a dog behind. What's a girl to do? I think I will play it by year. See how I feel once im there.
Sorry if that was difficult to follow. I guess it kind shows how my brain is working right now, it's all over the place. Never finishing a thought! So much to do, so little time!!!!!!!!
